FlexiBand
The web and e-mail have now become such an essential part of everyday business life it is difficult to think back to what life was like before their existence. More and more businesses are requiring ever increasing bandwidth demands out of their ADSL circuits.
Most organisations must either be constrained to the limited capabilities offered by a single ADSL line, or spend a significantly larger amount on a private circuit. For high-value sites such as a company HQ, private circuits are a justifiable expense. However for the vast majority of small and medium size businesses, government sites, home workers and multi-site retail organisations, deploying these expensive resources is not economically viable.
Until recently there had been no alternative to obtain more bandwidth, but fortunately that has now changed with the introduction of FlexiBand.
FlexiBand enables the upstream and downstream bandwidth of multiple internet connections (from one or more providers - one of which must be KeConnect) to be combined. For example two 2Mbps download, 256Kbps upload ADSL lines could be combined with FlexiBand, to provide up to a 4Mbps download and 512Kbps upload connection. Because aggregation occurs at the IP layer, multiple ISPs and wholesale infrastructures can be used - which significantly improves resilience when compared to a single provider solution.
The solution comprises a preconfigured Netgear DG834 router for each bonded line, preconfigured and ready to go. The ongoing monthly fee includes our Router Support Pack which includes next working day router replacement in the event of hardware failure.

Cisco Router
This solution is recommended if you have very specialised requirements or wish to bond a large number of lines together.
NB: Unlike Flexiband, the Cisco solution will only work with our broadband service and cannot be used alongside connections from other internet service providers.
